Kudos to Michael Ford (24 hours, Aug. 3) for reminding all the straight folks that what they see in the Pride Parade does not reflect how gay men behave in everyday life. I wish, however, that he would also have reminded readers that not all gay people, myself included, feel it is our God-given right to prance down the street in assless chaps—any more so than we think it is a straight person's right to prance down the street in similar fashion.
