Plans for a new Vancouver skyscraper have just been announced by Vancouver architect James
Cheng. The proposed tower will be Vancouver's tallest at 600 feet and 55 floors. It will be
right downtown at 1120 West Georgia. The building—which will be a combination of offices, hotel
space, condos, and retail—will also include a public sculpture garden. I love the cool, blue,
sleek uninterrupted surface of this tower; it will fit in really well with the Vancouver
landscape without looking like another perforated, balcony-riddled condo. Official website:
